Pakistan: counsel can see military court trial records but not take notes or photos

The Nation has this account of the latest proceedings in the Supreme Court of Pakistan in the case challenging military court judgments. Defense counsel can only view the military trial and appellate court records at the Attorney General's Office. No notes; no photography.

The records are secret in their entirety? It is difficult to imagine how the Supreme Court will be able to write a publishable judgment if the entire case is classified or under seal.
